Due to a serious crash of our login system (Man was it bad!) We now have a brand new system for login. Everyone will required to register again. (I know it's a real pain in the neck!) Our Mission:

  • The United States Ship Samuel Gompers was a Destroyer Tender based on the west coast of the US. The Gompers was affectionately known by her crew as the "Fat Sam" For more information check the Statistics page.

  • This Website is for the specific and sole use of past crewmembers of the USS Samuel Gompers. There are public sections of the site for non-crewmembers for research use. Anyone found to be registering as a crewmember that is not will have their IP Address blocked and also be reported to there ISP for violating privacy laws. Harassment will not be tolerated. If any material on this site offends you please email me and if I agree it will be removed. If I don't agree....then I recommend you not come back. Remember, we can't please everyone. To try to do so would drive me completely insane. I'm already half way there as it is! No need to push!

This is a great way to thank the troops now serving in Iraq that was sent to me by Don Hall. Please take the time to do this. It will make you and a service man or woman feel great.
You can now send a gift that troops overseas would love to receive. If you want to register someone you know that is overseas or "adopt" somone that is already registered you can do so.
